Northern Ohio Medical Specialists (NOMS) was formed in 2001 by several area physicians who sought to provide a patient centric model of healthcare delivery focused on convenience and quality. By creating one multi-specialty group practice, patients have access to a wide range of physicians and mid-level providers, access to convenient, high quality radiology services at NOMS Imaging, and are provided with one consolidated billing statement for all services. We continually monitor the growth and development of managed care (insurance company) organizations in the area and seek to negotiate provider contracts where we can properly align incentives to promote high quality care. NOMS Healthcare is currently engaged in planning a new facility designed to provide a wide range of services in addition to consolidating several of our locations targeted toward improving convenience and access. Our new facility will house Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Wellness/Fitness Center, After-hours medical care, Laboratory, Imaging, and several of our physician offices.
