About NOMS Internal Medicine

Internal Medicine is a division of Northern Ohio Medical Specialists, offering physician services with urgent and follow up care. Internal Medicine offices are located in both Sandusky and Bellevue, Ohio.

Internal Medicine encompasses adult primary care, and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of metabolic, structural, and degenerative diseases. Internists typically are involved in the management of diseases involving organ systems. For example, the cardiac, pulmonary, renal, endocrine, GI, neurologic, and musculoskeletal systems.

A partial list of conditions NOMS Internal Medicine helps to treat includes arthritis, coronary artery disease, diaIbetes, hypertetion, thyroid, asthma and emphysema, osteoprosis, anemia, and much more. We refer our patients to sub-specalists for assistance if needed.

Many patients use internists to coordinate their health care with other specialists. Our offices employ licensed physicians, adult Nurse Practitoners, Registered Nurses, LPN’S, medical assistants, and secretaries. All of them work together to help take care of your health needs.
